Megan
Owner & Principal Planner
Film nerd turned linen lover, weddings took me by surprise. Never in 8 year old Megan’s wildest dreams would I be commanding rooms of people with an ear piece, clipboard and a 10+ page design board. (Pretty sure I was supposed to become a lawyer or a vet, by her standards). Shy little Miss Type A had it coming though, with her crayons always remaining in the colored order they were sold in, and an adamant refusal that no girls were allowed to play with her hair during circle time, because they would just mess it up. Yes, there were signs.
After years of working in Hollywood and restaurants (because you don’t make money until they buy your script), I resigned from the beachside life and made my way to Texas, where weddings became my true love. I am proud of what I have built, and love the push to find “the next”. Colors feed my soul, and as an original Swiftie, I appreciate a good Easter egg or two in your event concepts more than most. I have in-depth experience in planning, design, florals, catering and venue management, allowing me to best guide clients during their planning journey. Giving life to Taylor Event Co. in 2020, I enthusiastically welcome all love stories into our orbit.
When it isn’t wedding weekend, I’m home with my husband, kiddos and cats, enjoying all the chaos that comes with it. We are currently restricted to Kiss and Creedence Clearwater Revival vinyls exclusively during our children’s waking hours, per their demands. (Forever grateful they don’t care about Cocomelon)
I was raised by a homicide and bomb detective. We watched Unsolved Mysteries and Forensic Files before going to bed as a family growing up, because that was our “normal”.
I met my husband while working at an Applebee’s in college - proof you can find love in a hopeless place.
I wouldn’t be telling you the whole truth if I said my post-wedding ritual was a bubble bath. It is… but that’s after my team and I sit down for gossip over cocktails.

Production Manager
I love love, being outdoors, and working with people – choosing a career in the event world was a no brainer for me. I was born in Texas, but call Marion, Arkansas my home. After studying Art and Drawing at University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, I moved back to Dallas-Fort Worth. Combining my past experiences as a venue coordinator and event sales with my keen eye for visuals, events came naturally to me. I am the go-to girl for meticulously arranged escort cards and perfectly nestled detail florals.

I am a Pi Beta Phi and Arkansas Razorback Alumni – Woo Pig Sooie!
Traveling holds a big place in my heart, and the mountains are my favorite place to be… skiing and trying new restaurants are always top on my travel to-do list.
I love seeing the raw emotions that weddings evoke – there’s nothing like it!
